Do you know Windows 8 has an additionbutton on Login Screen that can reveal the password you have just typed in the password box? Called Password Reveal Button officially, it’s an eye-like little icon sitting inside the password box, once clicked, it reveals the text you’ve just typed in the password box. It might be a useful feature to help you not type in the wrong password too many times but it also expose the chance for someone who might look over you shoulder to find out your secret.
Launch Local Group Policy Editor, by pressing Win+R, typing “gpedit.msc“, and hitting Enter.
Go to Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components, and select Credential User Interface
Then double click the policy Do not display the password reveal button, tick Enable radio button. And click OK to complete the operation
